Swiss Champion in the decathlon โ 8,069 points ๐จ๐ญ๐ฅ
This one means a lot.
Competing at the Swiss Combined Events Championships in Teufen โ on the track where we train every week โ already made this competition special. But the journey to get here made it even more meaningful.
Originally, this competition was never part of the plan. The goal was clear: perform well in Gรถtzis, move into a strong position for the European Championships qualification, and then go all in for Europeans.
But after getting injured in Gรถtzis and dealing with issues around my Hoffaโs fat pad, plans changed. To improve my chances in the rankings, we decided to add the Swiss Championships to the schedule.
Even then, it wasnโt straightforward. Two weeks before nationals, my knee was still causing pain and at times it didnโt look realistic. Thanks to finding the right treatment approach together with my medical team @medbase_abtwil things started improving quickly and I was finally able to get back close to full training.
And thenโฆ right when I could push again, I got sick. The week before nationals I was out from Tuesday until Saturday with fever.
So this was far from ideal preparation.
Thatโs exactly why Iโm so happy and grateful with this result. 8,069 points, the national title, and proof that sometimes things donโt go according to plan โ but can still work out.
Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way.

Not the weekend I had hoped for.
Going into Gรถtzis, I tried to be realistic. I knew the high jump would probably be the biggest challenge for my knee, and I wasnโt sure how the long jump would go. I accepted that those two events might be difficult. But apart from that, I felt ready. In eight out of the ten events, I was excited to show the shape Iโm in and what Iโve been working towards over the last months.
Unfortunately, I felt my knee already after the 100m. From that moment on, it became a fight.
In the long jump, I couldnโt even run properly and ended up taking off from the wrong leg. In the shot put, I had to use a simplified technique instead of the glide. Between events, we tried everything possible from a medical and treatment perspective to get the knee ready to continue. But deep down, after the pain I felt before long jump, I already knew that all the adjustments, technique changes, and workarounds were only delaying what was becoming increasingly obvious: I wasnโt going to be able to high jump. When the time came, I had to accept that reality and made the decision not to compete in the event.
I still ran the 400m, mainly because I wanted to finish the day on a positive note and give everything I had left.
After discussing the situation and listening to my body, I made the decision not to start day two.
Itโs frustrating because I know Iโm capable of much more right now. But sometimes the smartest decision is to stop before things get worse.
Thank you to everyone who supported me in Gรถtzis and from home. Your messages and encouragement mean a lot. Weโll figure out whatโs going on, recover properly, and come back stronger.
This is a setback, not the end of the story. ๐ช
Gรถtzis, weโll be back. ๐ฆ๐นโค๏ธโ๐ฉน

Back on the track. ๐ฅ
After months of rehab and rebuilding, tomorrow marks my first real competition since knee surgery. Not a full decathlon yet โ just testing a few events straight out of training at @multistars_official
No expectations, just competing again, trusting the process and enjoying every moment out there.

Camp done. Season mode: on. ๐
La Palma delivered. Hard work and long days โ exactly what this phase needed. Now itโs time to take everything from the track and turn it into results.
A big thank you to @fortimo.ch and @revier.hotel โ for making this camp possible. The right support off the track is just as important as the work on it. ๐

La Palma is hitting different. ๐
The weather, the training, the vibes - everything just feels right out here. Four days in and the body is responding exactly the way I needed it to.
The discus has been a highlight so far. Honestly itโs the discipline where I feel the most in my element right now.
Something is clicking and I want to keep riding that momentum.
But the real moment so far? Jumping again. Long jump and high jump - both back in the program. Both felt way better than I expected. These are the sessions that reminded me why you put in all the work in rehab.
La Palma, keep it coming. ๐ค

Rehab update ๐๐ผ
First competition done. First shot put in the books.
A few weeks ago, this still felt far away. Now Iโm back doing hurdles, pole vault, small jumps โ and even high jump (off the other leg for now ๐
).
Step by step. Session by session.
Not 100% yet, but the progress lately has been crazy and Iโm just happy to be back doing what I love.
The comeback is getting real.
